Dear IEEE Members,

As a part of the IEEE Victorian Section's celebration of its 25 years as a section, we will be hosting two talks by distinguished women.

The first talk is being presented by Dr. Dalma Novak and is entitled "The Journey From Academia to Small Business – Confessions of a Former Professor".

This presentation kicks off the IEEE week of events and all are welcome and there is no charge. We'll be getting together from 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm start for the talk. It is on Monday, September the 29th and provides the perfect "entree" for those going on to the IEEE celebratory dinner.

The talk will be held in the Brown Theatre in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department at the University of Melbourne. Download the flyer for all of the details. If you wouldn't mind please do RSVP to wie.victorian@ieee.org.

More detail to follow shortly on our second talk by Prof. Roma Rinkeviciene.

Best regards, Irena
